01 Scope
IEC 60335-2-2 specifies safety requirements for ironing appliances (electric irons, steam irons) in conjunction with IEC 60335-1. GB 4706.2 is identically adopted.

04 Technical requirements
Operating temperature and handle/grasp surface temp. limits; stability test.
Pressure steam structures need pressure relief and burn protection.
